Note to recruiters:

  Some of you have found this resume. Others will. Before you call me, please consider the following:

  Location: I will not relocate from the Kansas City area. I will do out-of-town consulting, but the period of time should be limited - measured in weeks, or at most a few months.

  Type of work: The work must be interesting. I prefer technical work to managerial work. I will not consider jobs that have a high proportion of routine and repetition (scrubbing data, producing reports, and so on). The ideal job is 50% design and code, with the other 50% split among analysis, project management, training, support, documentation, and so on. The ideal job probably doesn't exist, of course, but the closer to the ideal, the more receptive I will be.

  Money: Minimum salary requirement in the upper $70K range for permanent, full-time employment; local consulting rates start at $50/hour (out of town rates are higher, depending on circumstances).
